Principal Global Interview Experience Overview

It is a 3 day Process, So be prepared for it.

  1. eLitmus General Aptitude Test.
  2. eLitmus Hiring Potential Test.
  3. Technical/ Managerial Round -1
  4. Technical/ Managerial Round-2
  5. HR Round

Round 1: eLitmus General Aptitude Test.

Before the start of test there was the general Briefing about Principal Global by the HR Manager. They brief us about The placement Procedure and about their company.

Questions were on:

Time= 30 minutes and Questions =20

  • Quantitative aptitude.
  • Logical Reasoning.
  • Verbal

This test consists of mix questions difficulty level is easy.

For preparation I will suggest Indiabix and RS Agrawal is sufficient. Less than half of students who appeared for the test could make it to the next round. And Luckily I cracked this Round.

Round 2: Hiring Potential Test(pH Test)

On the next day, they called us at YCCE college for the pH test. Read more about pH test from here(Click).

This is one of the most difficult Test and its paper pen test.

There is a negative marking scheme based on some criteria click here. For clearing this Test you need to practice hard, I mean very hard(CAT level ) preparation will be required.

For example a test taker who attempts 20 questions and gets 4 wrong and the test taker who attempts 40 questions and gets 4 wrong will be penalized equally.

The one thing I used to Crack this Test is I Solved each and Every Questions. So Try to solve as many Questions as you can. p

Practice of aptitude is required to clear this round, Guessing work will not help you unless you have extraordinary luck!.

Round 3: Technical/Managerial Round.

Principal Global Preparation Material

This Round will be based on your Resume, So prepare Your Resume thoroughly. One good thing about this drive is that they don’t ask too much Technical questions. If you have very basic knowledge of core java concepts that enough for clearing this process.

Questions asked were:

  1. Tell me about Yourself?
  2. Your Career Objectives?
  3. Your Skill sets?
  4. Extra curricular activities?
  5. Questions on your Project (10-15 min conversation)
    • Why did you choose to do this project?
    • Its future Scope?
    • Why you opted this technology?
    • How you will maintain it?
  6. They will ask you about your Internship
    • What was your role?
    • What you have lean?
    • If we ask you to do the same project how much time you will require to complete it?
    • Internship Outcome?
  7. Some real-life Questions?

Round 4: Technical/Managerial Round

This round totally depends on your previous round, Suppose the interviewer is satisfied by your answers in your previous interview then this Round will be semi HR kind of. If not it will be Technical/ Managerial.

Every Interviewer will have your resume copy so they will mark something on that, and then your interview will be based on whatever is circled on your resume.

In my case 80 percent question were repeated, Same question but in twisted fashion. So stick to the point as of in your round 3.

Questions are:

  1. Extracurricular activities if any
    • They will ask you it in depth.
    • He/she will ask you role responsibility.
  2. Some Question on Projects.
  3. Some real-life situational based question
    • Be real while saying the answer.

In between these round they come and give us puzzle to solve and after solving they take paper from us.

Round 5: HR Round

This is the last round, Its purely HR round.

Questions asked were:

  • Tell me about Yourself not listed in your Resume?
  • Your Strength Weakness?
  • Tell me about your family background?
  • Placement offers if any?
  • Why Principal Global?
  • Some Situational based Questions?

She asked me one situational Question-

After 3 years if some “XYZ” company offers you a higher package let say 16 LPA and you working at principal global working at 10LPA what you will do, will you accept the offer and leave principal global or stick to the company?

My answer was, I will stick to the principal global only on one condition, I will contact HR manager about this situation, That XYZ company communicated with me and they are offering me 16 LPA, I will ask HR to raise my salary to 14 LPA(based on the current situation of the company as well) if they agree to raise my salary I will stick to the Principal. Because It’s my right to get salary appraisals for my hard work toward the company.

If they don’t agree to raise my salary then only, I will switch it. because if are not getting what you deserve then there is no point staying in that organization. I added mam you can relate to me too. That your organization must appreciate your skills and thus pay what you deserve.

I hope this article will help you. Wishing you all the Luck for your Future!!
