LTI conducted placement drive for two Positions in 2019

  • Graduate Trainee Engineer
    • CTC offered 5LPA.
  • Full-stack Graduate Trainee Engineer
    • CTC offered 6.5 LPA

Overview of Placement Procedure

LTI conducts Aptitude test in a proctored environment, that means no tab shifting and there is no scope of google search.

If you try to do so your exam will be terminated immediately.

Platform-Mettl, it can be co-cubes, Amcat, or wheel box also it depends on the company.

Total 120 minutes Test

  1. Aptitude test section
    • Psychometric Test
    • Quantitative Aptitude.
    • Logical
    • Verbal
  2. Technical Questions.
  3. Coding Test.
  4. Essay Writing.
  5. Group Discussion.
  6. HR/Technical Interview.

Step-1: Psychometric Test-20 minutes

This section consists of 86 questions and you have to solve them in 20 min, You have to stick to your argument if you agree, strongly agree, disagree, or strongly disagree with the assumptions thrown.

same questions will come in twisted manner just stick to your argument.

Step-2: Aptitude Test- 30 Minutes

Aptitude consists of three sections:

  • Quantitative- 10 questions
    • Questions are on – Time and distance, profit loss, SI and CI, work.
  • Logical -10 questions
    • Basically questions are on- Sequences, pattern matching, code language
  • Verbal-10 questions
    • fill in the blanks, Synomyns, antonyms, sentence arrangement comprehension.

Each section is allotted 10 minute each.

And the difficulty level of this section is easy to moderate. You can prepare from Indiabix or RS Agrawal, Sufficient to crack the aptitude test.

To be honest is quite easy to crack.

Step-3: Technical Test- 30 minutes

This section consists of 30 technical questions on java, SQL, Dbms, HTML.

you can prepare this section from examveda or sanfondry.

Step-4: Coding Test-30 minutes

This section will decide your job position in LTI, if yo clear coding test then you will be eligible for Full stack graduate trainee engineer package 6.5LPA.

If you didn’t clear this section still you are eligible for graduate trainee position package-5 LPA.

Step-5: Essay Writing -10 minutes

You will be given topic and you have to write essay with given time stamp.

My Topic was- Scope of sports in India

My suggestion – Please don’t use difficult words while writing essay, keep it simple and precise and readable.

This section requires no practice just go with the flow, because the topic you will get will always come different.

After test result were declared.

Round 2: Group Discussion

we were divided into group of 9, My topic was To become successful is MBA degree is important?

To clear this round you must have to speak valid point because they are eliminating students like anything, from group of 9 they were selecting maximum 5 students.

My suggestion:

  • Start the Communication.
  • Encourage other students if he /she is not speaking any point.
  • Put forward some valid points.
  • Do not cut someone, while he/she is speaking.
  • Always address others with sir or madam.
  • It’s just a group discussion, not debate.
  • Try to conclude, what you have discussed.

Next day we had HR/Technical Round

Round 3: HR/Technical Round

Technical Round Preparation Material:

Here are my suggestions to crack this round:

  • Prepare your resume thoroughly
  • The question will be on your resume only.
  • Prepare for technical questions also.

During Interview, the Interviewer can access your test. So he/she will be going to ask some technical questions also. Suppose some of you might not attempt a coding test.

So he/she will ask the reason for not attempting coding test, if you haven’t attempted

The interviewer will ask questions on java like write a code to check string palindrome, SQL join, etc.

If you attempted a coding test, your interview will purely HR based. Also, it depends on the panel too.

Although I haven’t cleared coding test, but my code passes few test cases. that was my savior.That is why the interviewer asked me HR based questions
