NCR Corporation is Hiring Software Quality Engineer II

We are currently seeking a Software Quality Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, as well as ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a crucial role in delivering business functionality on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automated test scripts using testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber.
• Create and execute comprehensive test cases for our products, covering both functional and regression testing.
• Perform manual testing to identify defects and potential issues, working closely with developers and team members to resolve them.
• Analyze test results, identify patterns and trends, and provide valuable feedback to the development team.
• Participate in agile development processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing procedures.
• Develop and maintain documentation for testing procedures, test cases, and automation scripts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience in programming computer applications and knowledge of software documentation, utilities, and job control languages will also be considered.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software engineering concepts and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience in software testing or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber.
• Strong background in functional and automation testing.
• An additional advantage of working on Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) automation.
• Experience in testing on various devices and simulators.
• Strong analytical skills for performing root cause analysis of issues.
